Welcoming Rainbow Butterfly

Rainbow Butterfly was welcomed in ceremony to St. John's Park, next to Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest on On August 19, 2024.



Thanks to Jessica Paley, Project Coordinator with the City of Winnipeg's Indigenous Relations Dept., and Sandra DeLaronde for bringing together community members committed to implementing the 231 Calls for Justice and National Action Plan to end the national crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+peoples.


The Forest Keepers of KAHF are honoured to have Rainbow Butterfly as a neighbour to the Healing Forest and join with those committed to working towards justice.
