Farewell to Keeper Paul Johnson

Updated: 4 days ago

Along with the member community of St. John's Anglican Cathedral, the Forest Keepers hosted a gathering on July 28, 2024 to bid farewell to founding Forest Keeper, Dean Paul N. Johnson.

Paul has been such a strong advocate and asset to the Healing Forest throughout her development and fostered an invaluable relationship with the Cathedral.

Keepers Rachelle Carlisle and Val Vint opened with songs and drumming, and Keeper Judy Wasylycia-Leis offered Paul an amazing antique gift on behalf of the team.

A beautiful Basswood (Linden) Tree was planted in his honour, which has large heart-shaped leaves--a fitting symbol for someone with a big heart like Paul!
